Temple Square

Just some photos I took of Temple Square after work on Friday. What a beautiful place.

Antique Shopping in Salt Lake

My friend Natasha (aka Sunshine) and I decided to go antique store shopping on our day off and here are some images from our adventure.

We spent most of our time at Euro Treasures in Salt Lake City. This store is HUGE!! We didn’t have nearly enough time to explore and see everything they had, but here are some pictures from it. And go check it out for yourself! (470 West 600 South)

The Metro Building

A couple weeks ago at work we got moved from the Metro building to the Church Office Building so we decided to go through and take a few last photos of the building before it gets torn down in a few months. Most of them were taken from a blocked off section of the building that hasn’t been in use for years. So, if it’s blocked off, you may be wondering how we got to it? Well, it took some effort, but we managed it. We had to go down to the lower level basement, through the rooms with water pipes and power breakers, through a secret (not so secret) side door and back up 4 flights of stairs and through another door. Impressed? Well, you should be. Worth it. And here are the photos. And I did a double exposures on some of them to make them seem extra creepy.

Ingrid Michaelson SLC concert

First, I just want to say that Ingrid Michaelson is one of my favorite music artists of all time (next to Alison Sudol of A Fine Frenzy).  Every single album Ingrid comes out with  is just as great as the last (which is obviously super great).  Overall, the concert was AMAZING!! And that’s not an exaggeration.  Great sound, great audience, and Ingrid was charming as usual.  I mean, I’ve always been a little obsessed with Ingrid Michaelson’s music, but after attending that concert I think it’s safe to say that I am past the point of obsession…. I am now possessed by Ingrid. Haha.

Check out her website here.

And watch the video below I took of her singing “Blood Brothers” from her latest album “Human Again” (Sorry about the blurriness and shaky camera; I had the camera set on manual, and I was obviously way too excited to hold still.)

And finally, here are my pictures from the concert:

The opening act: Harper Blynn.

Visit their website and download their album for FREE Here.

Waiting for Ingrid to come onstage.

And here’s Ingrid!

Dang Ingrid, look at that piano playing arm muscle. haha
And check out her super cool shoes.
And don’t forget about Ingrid’s band members.
And don’t even get me started on the drummer… dreamy.
